When Patel spent the summer at camp, she snuck off into the wilderness and met some unexpected new friends. One by one, Patel fell in love with the Bear, the Raccoon, the Turtle, the Caterpillar, and the Butterfly. Together, this group of like-minded souls became the Wilderlings.

Through all of life's ups and downs, the Wilderlings stick together, sharing acts of kindness and words of wisdom as they encourage each other to live life to the fullest.
